Unlike a one-plate Sunday breakfast, Turkish or Istanbul breakfast features a spread of small servings of Turkish olives, cheese, bread, fresh salads, herbs, eggs, pastries, jams, and of course Turkish tea. Depending on the occasion or availability, there may be 3 or 30 different dishes on the table. The idea is to have variety while also catering to individual needs without waste.
